We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. The accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets and forecasts, and providing insights and recommendations to management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable.
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
Assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits.
Stay updated on accounting best practices and industry trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
