We are seeking a skilled Car Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive painting and refinishing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Car Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sand vehicle surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
Remove or mask off trim, windows, and other parts as needed.
Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, and other damage that needs repair.
Mix paint according to manufacturer specifications and color codes.
Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns and other tools.
Ensure even coverage and proper thickness of paint layers.
Inspect painted surfaces for defects, such as runs, streaks, or uneven areas.
Sand and polish paint as needed to achieve a high-quality finish.
Ensure all paint jobs meet company and industry standards for quality and durability.
Maintain and clean spray guns, compressors, and other painting equipment.
Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on painting tools and machinery.
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize exposure to hazardous materials.
Adequecy in:
Proven experience as a Car Painter or in a similar role.
Proficient in the use of painting tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of automotive paint types, techniques, and application methods.
Ability to perform minor body repairs and surface preparation.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Capability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
