The Cheese-Epicurean Specialist first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. will provide guest service up to and exceeding company standards by educating guests on our Epicurean Cheese products. Prepare & educate people about cheese.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Learn and memorize hand-cut cheese set and ensure all team members working the Epicurean department have mastered the set
• Uphold standards set for cutting each variety of cheese and displays within each Epicurean case
• Merchandise and upkeep of the retail cases including signage, promotional materials, and cleanliness; each case is to be organized at the beginning and ending of each shift and as needed throughout the day
• Maintain proper dates, rotation and shrink control in all Epicurean cases
• Follow and maintain all Epicurean and Food Service policies, procedures and programs as laid out by company guidelines
• Maintain calendar of cheese out of dates; the cheese is logged on the day that it goes out of date along with the quantity that was cut; the expectation is that there is never any out of date cheese on the sales floor
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed and always maintained; the safety of our guests and team members is our number one priority.
• Must be able to order all specialty cheese products from all current partners
• Maintain product at proper temperatures and ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed
• Performs other duties as requested or required by management
Required qualification
• Bachelor’s degree are preferred.
• Any nationality can apply, Arabic is a must
• Minimum of 3 years of food service experience
• Must be able to work in a fast, efficient, and controlled manner
• Team members should be knowledgeable about each Epicurean item that is sampled and sold in order to educate our guests.
• Work a flexible schedule as required by the day-to-day business and Department Manager
• Maintain a current Food Safety certification
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
• Good in cross selling of products
• Must be willing to relocate in Abu Dhabi area.
• Attractive Salary up to 3000 AED.
