Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing construction activities on site
2. Managing parts of construction projects
3. Supervising contracted staff
4. Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
5. Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
6. Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
7. Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and purchasing of necessary materials
8. Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Civil Site Engineer or similar role in construction
Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with constructi management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
B in engineering, building science or relevant field
PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
