Electrical Technician
Highly skilled Electrical Technician will carry out repair and trouble shooting of electrical equipment in the facility / building or establishment. Will respond to request for electrical repairs and breakdowns as well as perform routine and update equipment as necessary. Must know or how to troubleshoot and repair of electrical controls and capable of making some adjustmen or repairs if any electrical equipment found not working or in need of repair:
(1) Job Description,
• Repair and replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical components and some electronic parts of machinery and equipment.
• Perform repair and preservation of field plant etc. for electronic and electrical system, equipment and devices.
• Test solid-state circuitry to determine defective components in analog and digital equipment along with defective parts replacements.
• Conduct tests and assessment of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
• Assemble and install electrical panels, electric meters, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment.
• Respond quickly to all service request and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Log all services and report progress to Maintenance In-charge / Site In-charge or Authorized Client Representative.
• Utilize and store equipment properly
(2) Qualification
• Electrical Technology diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
• Able to read blueprint and technical drawing.
• Proficient with manual and power tools.
• Familiar with electrical building code and safety regulation.
• Must have presentable appearance and mannerism.
• Can speak and write English language, Arabic language is a plus.
(3) Experience
At least Three (3) years of working experience in the Kingdom and 2-3 years in the other countries.
Can drive a service vehicle and valid driving license.
