Monitor and report on departmental service requirements and report progress
Evaluate reported issues, source and calculate the cost of materia for repair
Testing of repairs and sign-off back to rental inventory
Repair malfunctions in circuitry to component level and other system structures
File, Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams
Update online reports and maintain spares inventory
Collaborate with engineers and HoDs on technical tasks
Create a maintence programme for all stocks
Previous experience as electronic technician or similar role
Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry repair
Familiarity working with audio visual equipment, the terminology and protocols
MS Office and PC skills
Ability to handle large inventory across multiple sites
Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination
An associate’s degree or apprenticeship as electronic technician
Diploma Certification in engineering or electronics is required
Event Industry Experience of at least 3 years.
