Job Summary
The Senior HVAC Estimate & Tendring Engineer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of HVAC projects from inception to completion. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. This position requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize project costs and maintain quality standards.

Job Duties
•Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects based on drawings and specifications.
•Analyze project requirements and specifications to provide accurate quantity take-offs.
•Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to monitor project progress and financial performance.
•Manage contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
•Monitor and report on project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
•Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design and budget.
•Prepare and maintain cost reports and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
•Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, BSE Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC quantity surveying, preferably in the GCC region.
•Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and local construction practices.
•Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
•Familiarity with Oman construction laws and regulations.
•Membership in a relevant professional body (RICS) is preferred.
