1 Source and provide accurate pricing information for materials, labour, plant and equipment etc
2 Update construction cost database to order and track purchased materials, labor and supplies needed for projects and monitors, reviews and oversees contracts submitting bids that determine cost and stated duration of project
3 Ensure the estimators prepare upon award of the project, a summary of the job including cost of labor, material, quantity and quality of the material required strictly as per the specification of the client to ensure that they are as per the prescribed parameters
4 Prepare / Review the preparation of the construction schedule, providing manhours and equipment requirement for each activity and ensure correctness to capture anticipated durations and manning
5 Assist Commercial & cost control engineers in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to Company.
6 He will be responsible to prepare accurate cost estimates based on enquiry documentation
7 Shall be Able to create drawings and models using the AUTOCAD SOFTWARE, from written and verbal specifications obtained from Project Engineer / Manager
8 Can assist the estimation team from time to time with regards to extracting & creating BOQs and pricing projects
9 Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope
10 Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate
11 Updates unit Rates, material cost databases, labor and construction equipment rates to keep them current & prepares construction estimates for Job Change Notices
12 Working closely with the site teams, including Senior Project Managers.
Experience:
Estimat surveyor: 5 years (Preferred)
Education
Bachelor's (Preferred)
