We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will work closely with our experienced engineers and contribute to various projects and initiatives within our mechanical engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers and cross-functional teams as needed.
Reviewing tender doents and conducting a thorough analysis to understand material requirements, technical specifications, and project scope.
Identifying potential suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to source the required materials for the tender or project.
Analyzing supplier quotations, comparing prices, terms, and conditions, and selecting the most cost-effective and reliable options.
Utilizing cost estimation techniques and tools to calculate material costs accurately based on quantities, specifications, and market rates.
Assessing supplier capabilities, product quality, delivery timelines, and pricing to ensure suitability for the tender requirements.
Negotiating with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, favorable terms, and optimal delivery schedules.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and resolution of any issues that may arise.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales managers, engineers, and procurement, to align material sourcing strategies with project requirements and timelines.
A bachelor’s Degree in Mechaical Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
Strong academic performance with a focus on relevant coursework.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
