Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in identifying the auto parts they need.
Recommend suitable parts and accessories based on customer requirements and vehicle specifications.
Provide accurate price quotes and availability for parts.
Upsell related products or services to enhance customer experience.
Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on auto parts inventory, including new, aftermarket, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products.
Understand the functionality and compatibility of parts for different vehicle makes and models.
Assist customers with product installation instructions or connect them with technicians.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure stock is replenished timely.
Organize and maintain parts inventory to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
Ensure parts are correctly labeled and stored in an organized manner.
Order Management:
Take customer orders over the phone, in person, or via online channels.
Prepare orders for pick-up or delivery, ensuring all necessary parts are included.
Coordinate with the shipping and receiving department for timely dispatch of orders.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business.
Provide excellent post-sale support, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on deliveries.
Payment and Transactions:
Process sales transactions using the cash register, POS system, or online payment platforms.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately and issue receipts.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all sales practices comply with company policies and relevant automotive regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring products are safely handled.
