Job description / Role:
• Monitor Engineeri Fire & Life Safety requirements (FLS) of the project.
• Organization and conduction of regular meetings / tracking completion of agreed actions with regards to the FLS subjects.
• Review and assess FLS procedures provided and revise it as and when necessary.
• Work with the project team to address and mitigate issues related to FLS.
• Identify potential issues related to FLS that may result in variation orders.
• Must be well versed in Auto CAD to prepare FLS drawings as per authority standards.
• To be able to conduct inspections and ensure that contractor is coordinating and conducting inspections to check the installation related to FLS equipment prior handover at site.
• To be a part of the Civil Defense approval process and co-ordinate the submissions and client's reply.
• To be able to produce and to follow a schedule related to its submissions for approval.
• Ensure that all Life Safety systems and related equipment are fully functional.
• Knowledge of project delivery processes and techniques, good understanding of engineering and construction activities sequencing.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in managing project FLS issues; in UAE
• Sound knowledge in UAE Fire code & NFPA, Excellent Analytical & communication Skills
