Job Description

To lead and manage design, estimation, and planning of scaffolding and formwork; oversee manufacturing operations; and handle sales, marketing, and receivables, ensuring smooth business operations and profitability of a leading Omani SME, Scaffolding Business Unit.


Candidate Requirements

1. Design, Estimation, and Planning of Scaffolding and Formwork
•Responsibilities:
oDesign and develop customized scaffolding and formwork systems based on project requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
oPrepare detailed cost estimations and project proposals.
oDevelop project schedules, setting realistic timelines and resource allocation plans.
oCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to refine and optimize design models.

2. Handling and Supervision of the Scaffolding Manufacturing Unit
•Responsibilities:
oOversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring high standards of quality control, safety, and efficiency.
oManage production schedules to meet demand, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime.
oCoordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of raw materials.
oTrain and develop staff to improve performance, safety adherence, and skills.

3. Handling Sales and Marketing to Facilitate Smooth Operations
•Responsibilities:
oDevelop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition.
oConduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities.
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and develop strategies to retain key accounts.
oSet realistic sales targets aligned with the company’s objectives and work with the sales team to achieve them.

4. Manage Timely Collection of Receivables
•Responsibilities:
oTrack receivables and establish follow-up processes to ensure timely collections.
oCoordinate with the finance team to monitor cash flows and identify any issues related to delayed payments.
oDevelop and enforce policies to reduce overdue receivables and improve the company’s cash flow position.

5. Manage Day-to-Day Responsibilities
•Responsibilities:
oEnsure smooth daily operations across all departments, including administration, production, sales, and finance.
oImplement process improvements to increase overall efficiency.
oHandle any operational issues that arise, coordinating with relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve.
oPrepare and submit regular performance reports to upper management.

Additional Responsibilities
•Risk Management:
oIdentify potential risks across design, manufacturing, and sales operations; develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
•Employee Development:
oOrganize training programs to enhance team skills in design, manufacturing, and client interactions.
