We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of legal experience, specifically in the real estate sector, with strong expertise in real estate law, labor law, and regulations governing Abu Dhabi Mainland (ADM) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The Legal Manager will oversee all legal matters related to property transactions, leases, contracts, regulatory compliance, and serve as a liaison between the company and developers, as well as acting as the single point of contact for all government-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on real estate transactions, acquisitions, leasing, and development projects, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal doents related to real estate transactions, labor matters, and corporate governance.
Advise on regulatory compliance across real estate, labor law, ADM, and ADGM frameworks.
Manage disputes and legal issues related to real estate, labor laws, and business operations, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Act as the single point of contact for all government-related matters, ensuring timely and effective engagement with authorities for permits, licenses, and approvals.
Serve as the liaison between the company and real estate developers, facilitating smooth communication and project execution.
Coordinate legal requirements and facilitate communications between the company, developers, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure legal doentation is in line with local laws and regulations.
Stay updated with the latest developments in real estate, labor law, ADM, and ADGM regulations.
Manage and mentor junior legal staff as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). A Master's degree or further qualifications in real estate law, labor law, or corporate law is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience in real estate law, labor law, and regulations within ADM and ADGM.
Strong knowledge of UAE real estate regulations, labor laws, and the legal frameworks governing ADM and ADGM.
Expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts related to real estate and labor matters.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple legal priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
