GS is currently looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer for our Sales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Presales Manager. The role is responsible for our bids to be designed to client specifications with full compliance, at a competitive rate. The role is expected to be highly skilled and experienced in designing and Sales of ELV, AV, and IT systems and to be well-versed with all the regulatory requirements and standards such as but not limited to SIRA and MCC. The role is responsible for RFP study, raising RFls, designing a fully compliant solution, making proposals to fit the client's commercial and technical requirements take part in technical presentations.
We are looking for an applicant who can join immediately.
Job Responsibilities
Review the tender Doents, drawings, Specification and vendor list etc.
Prepare BOQ, proposals, cost sheet and assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.
To ensure that bids are turned around on time and promptly.
To ensure RFPs are properly evaluated, RFl's raised, and technical queries are clarified well before the submission of proposals.
To ensure the best products are proposed which will fully comply with the specification.
To ensure GS bids are fully compliant and are as competitive as possible.
To ensure GS minimum gross profit margins are maintained.
To ensure proper doentation is done and able to demonstrate solutions through Methodology, block diagrams, schematics, Interface Control Doents, and proper review of shop drawings is done.
To perform detailed site surveys, and participate in pre and post-bid meetings.
Preparation of material submittal bases on the proposed solution, able to give the technical presentation.
Dealing with required vendors for pricing.
