As a Project Site Engineer, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of construction projects, from initial planning to completion. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with the project manager to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to meet project objectives.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
Construction Management:
Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
Monitor progress and track project milestones, making adjustments as necessary to maintain schedule and budget.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, including design changes, material shortages, and site conditions.
Quality Assurance and Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project standards and specifications.
Conduct inspections and audits to identify defects or deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Doent and report quality issues, as well as the resolution process, to relevant stakeholders.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Provide safety training and guidance to project team members and subcontractors.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively and professionally.
Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in a site engineer role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
