Title:Sales Manager / Key Account Manager
Location:Based in Dubai - UAE, selling to customers within the GCC region. Reporting:Director of Sales
Summary:
Main responsibility is selling Industrial Data Communication Products and Solutions to various customers and markets in the GCC region. Expected to succeed working independently and as part of a team, actively contributing to grow our customer base and support and assisting the rest of the Amplicon Middle East team in achieving the company’s wide targets and objectives.
Main Role and Responsibilities:
a.Achieve or exceed the assigned annual sales target, whilst ensuring maximum growth and profit for the company and total customer satisfaction.
b.Focus: New Business (mainly from new accounts)
c.Support current clients and partners in order to maximize and increase business opportunities and profitability.
d.Work in close cooperation with Amplicon Middle East’s Key Accounts and Business Development Manager.
e.Responsible for all stages of new business development from prospecting and lead generation to proposal and closing new business.
f.Identify and develop local system integrators and partners to increase the specification of Amplicon Middle East products and ensure successful implementation and support.
g.Responsible for single or multiple-brand products and solutions, as deemed necessary by the company.
h.Responsible for driving the specification of Amplicon Middle East in OEM design, End User projects, and standards, securing our brands are registered with all major End Users.
i.Ensure complete territory coverage and leverage existing account contacts, to further develop a client-supplier relationship and new ‘branch-out’ business.
j.Proactively and effectively generate new business in new market segments, sub-segments, and new customers.
k.Make cold calls and off-site visits to gather information and maintain relationships with customers.
l.Meet with customers and suppliers as needed to supplement sales calls and professionally represent the company.
m.Maintain qualifications and technical education to support the sales function
n.Maintain at all times the CRM System, ensuring all Leads and Opportunities are followed up promptly, keeping updated and with relevant, sufficient, and accurate data.
o.Provide ‘Commit, Likely and Best Case’ Forecast reports as and when needed, not less than Quarterly, with monthly subtotals, at least 2 weeks in advance of each quarter.
p.Active contribution with the Marketing team to produce at least three new and high-quality Case Studies, Applications Notes, White Papers, News Letters, a other collateral material as required.
Note: This role does not require managing people (i.e. there are no people reporting to this role/position)
Required experience and background:
a.Three (+) years of sales and selling experience in a similar environment.
b.Four-year Technical degree or Five years of equivalent experience.
c.Knowledge of Process Automation products including Networking, Media Converter, PLC, Operator Interface, Motion Equipment, SCADA Software, and other related products and solutions.
d.Demonstrate a clear understanding of the ‘SOLUTION’ sales process.
e.Able to quickly build trust and rapport and to develop influential relationships at all levels of an organization.
