Food Storekeepers work closely with the Restaurant and Central Kitchen requirements, assisting the latter in maintaining the quantity control of all food-related inventory, as well as in ordering, receiving, loading, storing, and issuing all required packaging and food products.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Purchase Team for required materials and products at the store fulfilling the requests from Restaurant and Central Kitchen.
Responsible in safekeeping and the issuance of food products.
Responsible in maintaining all Food storerooms clean and in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Participates in the loading and storing process of all food inventoried items.
Ensures segregation of goods based on pick lists provided by the Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Supervisor.
Disburses merchandise from the storerooms following the pick-up times established in the Internal Requisitioning Timetable for Restaurant and Central kitchen.
Responsible for monitoring proper temperatures of all Food storerooms.
Responsible for reporting to the Reporting Manager, Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Supervisor for the spoilage and breakage of inventoried items.
Responsible for executing additional responsibilities assigned by Reporting Manager.
Responsible for taking the necessary precautions actions to avoid bodily injuries a damages to company’s property when using chemical and cleaning material.
Assists the Reporting Manager with assigned duties required by the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Organization.
Follow rules and regulations as stipulated in company policy and respect all Senior and fellow staff.
Performs related duties as required.

Qualification:
Awareness of product specification.
Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately.
Can speak English and have ability to speak additional languages as Arabic and Turkish.Minimum 2 years of experience as storekeeper at a reputable hotel, or at comparable firm that stores high volume of merchandise.
Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
Salary: 150 KD
