• Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system. Stocker, Counts, weights, Expiry dates, nature of goods, and measures goods received or issued.
• Under direction, the purpose of the job is to lead the operation and maintenance tasks of storage, in-bounding, out-bounding& fulfilling the orders.
• Employees in this job classification function in a lead capacity to ensure proper maintenance of warehouse shipping, receiving and inventory databases.
• Work includes storing of various light and heavy materials, supplies and equipment, un-palletizing, inspection, counting, put away, pick& pack.
• Make sure that special instructions are always followed and utilizing appropriate methods.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to track success a recurring problems.
• Develop personnel to ensure appropriate back in all key positions.
• Coach and groom direct reports for excellence while documenting their progress and cross-training to provide adequate coverage in key areas.
• Resolves discrepancies in shipments / clients returns to the warehouse
• Maintains categories of available stock in the warehouse.
• Selects, administers, and documents progressive and corrective disciplinary measures.
• Supervises and participates in recycling of paper, plastic, Styrofoam, and cardboard. Opens, timestamps, separates, and distributes incoming mail in a ma room. Performs related work as assigned.
• Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
• Ability to solve problems, take initiative and plan the tasks.
• Attention to detail and excellent in numeracy
