Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
•Design and formulate perfumes by blending various natural and synthetic ingredients.
•Test and refine scents to ensure the desired fragrance profile is achieved.
•Stay updated on fragrance materials, their properties, and their interactions.
•Analyze current fragrance trends and consumer preferences to create competitive products.
•Work with product developers, brand managers, and R&I to meet the requirements.
•Ensure fragrance formulas comply with safety and industry regulations (e.g., IFRA guidelines).
•Evaluate fragrances in different conditions (e.g., on skin, in fabric, over time) to assess longevity and stability.
•Maintain detailed records of formulas, ingredient proportions, and production processes.


Candidate Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
•Ability to detect and distinguish between hundreds of different scent notes.
•Develop unique and appealing fragrance compositions.
•Understanding of chemistry, particularly about aromatic compounds.
•Precision in measuring and blending ingredients.
•Ability to translate client needs into fragrance solutions.
•Awareness of fragrance trends, ingredients, and regulations.
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field (preferred).
•Specialized training at perfume schools like ISIPCA (France)
•Hands-on experience in fragrance labs in the perfume industry.
•People working in fragrance houses, cosmetic companies, or personal care product manufacturing are preferred.

Note: The Relocated job location will be in Bangladesh
