Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Procurement In charge with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in leading hospitals, group pharmacies, or wholesale companies within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring a smooth supply chain process. Preference will be given to candidates with strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and a deep understanding of competitive product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of products and materials.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best terms and conditions.
•Negotiate short & long terms contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
•Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and industry standards.
•Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
•Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs.
•Analyze market trends to adjust procurement strategies.
•Regularly evaluate supplier performance and negotiate improvements where necessary.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement roles within hospitals, group pharmacies, or wholesale companies in the UAE.
•Strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and an in-depth understanding of competitive product lines will be highly preferred.
•Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
•Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
•Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
