As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all coffee-related operations within our bustling café. You will be expected to deliver exceptional coffee experiences, train and mentor junior staff, and contribute to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Coffee Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques.
Consistently deliver high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring flavor profiles and presentation standards are met.
Stay up-to-date with the latest coffee trends and innovative brewing methods.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor junior baristas, providing training and guidance on coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Operational Efficiency:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Contribute to inventory management and cost control.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Customer Service:

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a barista, preferably in a specialty coffee shop.
Strong coffee knowledge and barista certifications (e.g., SCA, SCAE) are preferred.
